Anniversary

Time flies. Udah sering banget dengernya, and yes it does true. Gak terasa kemarin baru ngerayain 1st anniversary gue sm Narto walaupun celebrationnya bakal ditunda sampe weekend ini. Can't wait, can't wait =) I sent him return tickets to visit me. hihihi...

a little flashback, we never thought that we would get married that early, though finally we thought that it was the right decision. And.. if you knew us long long time ago when we were back in Canada, you know what happened between us and you would never think that we finally could date and get married. Nyahahaha!

Yes, i tell you a little story, and a simple thing to describe us is TOM & JERRY! you know what i mean right? Yup.. you're right. we used to tease each other, get annoyed to each other, and always fight and quarelling for every little thing =)

Naaaah.. tapiiii.. pernah denger kan pepatah Jawa "witing trisno jalaran soko kulino?" yang intinya kalo sering ketemu, lama2 jadi terbiasa bisa jadi jatcin juga. atau gak.. pepatah yg bilang "there is a thin line between love and hate" .. yaaaa.. kira2 gitu deh yang terjadi sm kita berdua! hahaha..

oh well, that really was a funny memory for both of us, and until now sometimes we still make fun of each other about that.

there's another story i haven't had time to share.. about our reception that finally was held successfully last month.. ehm i know, it's 11 months after our solemnization, but it's all worth it to wait until all my cousins and my sister back from Canada for their summer holiday =) and it was all about pink, like what i have been dreamt of since i was a little girl. and i'm so lucky that my hubby always supported me in everything i chose for the details such as the invitation, souvenirs and decorations .. he said "whatever makes you happy" ... he was very cooperative. but, for foods .. i let my mom decide, because she's an expert in that one though i did go for the food trial and help her to make decision ...

ah .. i'm a lucky woman .. or we're a lucky couple to be exact. so many people helped on and before that day.. and i can't thank them enough .. =)

turning 26...

Gimana rasanya udah 26 taon? Hmm.. biasa aja sih rasanya, ya berasa lbh tua aja, tp semuanya tetep sama aja. hehehe..

Bedanya..waktu ngerayain ultah ke-25 statusnya msh pacar orang, skrg udah jadi istri orang.. Trus, dulu msh ngerayain bareng orang rumah, kalo sekarang cuma berdua sm suami aja.. Bedanya lagi, taon ini kok berasa lebih dimanja ya? Taon lalu pas hari ultah malah kerja, emang minta kerja sih.. taon ini pas hari libur, trus dimanja banget sm Narto. Apa pun dia iya-in, diajak kesini mau, diajak kesana mau, pokoknya di hayu-in aja sm dia.

Trus lucunya, dia mau ngasih surprise selalu gagal gitu, gak tahan buat ngasih tau. bingung kali ya istrinya cuek2 aja? trus lucunya lagi.. dr tanggal 6 malem dia udah gelisah gitu, ngotot buat gue ke mobil ngambil hadiah.. trs dia bilang ambil donk.. ntar busuk. lha? apa itu bisa busuk2 segala? gue bilang "BUNGA ya?" dan ternyata betul. PINK ROSE! so pretty.. he knows i love pink, and i like pink rose ;)

Pas tgl 6 malem sblm tidur juga udah nanya2.. punya baju rapi gak? nah ini mau apa lagi? jangan2 mau diajak dinner ke tempat aneh2 nih.. boro2 gitu lho! tapi tebakan gue benerrrr.. tgl 7 sore pas gue mo tidur siang, dpt telp dr restorannya, buat reconfirm reservation dia. Yaaaah.. ketauan deh! wakakaka.. tp gue sih tetep aja pura2 udah tidur, kasian donk udah siapin surprise kalo sampe gagal =)

Bangun tidur, mandi, dandan, siap2.. meluncur deh ke tmpt dinner. Oh lucunya, biasa kalo dia udah siap, dan gue msh dandan, pasti udah manggil2.. udah telp, klakson mobil, tp kemaren dpt sms manis bener.. kalo udah turun aja yah! tumben ya? he knows when and how to pamper his wife :)

Selama di mobil, dia yang sibuk ngasih hint. Padahal gue mah udah pasrah aja dibawa kemana. Hahaha! tp ternyata emang tempatnya bagusssss... bagus buat dilihat, tapi kurang bagus buat difoto. Gelap sih, dan kalo pake flash malah gak keliatan bagusnya. Gak apa dey.. buat dikenang dalem ati dan ingetan ajah.. tempatnya tuh romantis, bole dibilang sih itu candle light dinner gitu.. and you can see the view of the whole city! tempatnya yg muter gitu deh.. aaaahh I love that place! Makanannya sih biasa aja, yang enak cuma avocado and sweet chili bread. Tapi kata narto grilled lamb rack dia enak..

Thank you, dear.. that was very beautiful, and i enjoyed every second of it. And I am thankful for being wonderful 26.

Is that true...

THAT after you get married things including your weight change? I GUESS SO!! Apparently, after being married for about 5 months I have gained 5 kg. YESS! 5 kg, people! very suprising indeed, since it's always been my problem for my entire life. I kept eating like a monster, still I couldn't gain any weight. 1-2 kgs at most and would go back to my previous weight.

Amazingly, I have gained about 1 kg per month.. GOSH! now i am happy but also very worry. Worry that my gown won't fit on the reception day. *knock on wood* People said I look better now. I look sexier? buahaha.. I wish.. Again, people said that it shows that I am happy with my married life which is very true =)

So, what else is new? Still busy preparing for the reception day and Oh.. I have resigned from my previous job, and will start new job at one of the largest bank in China next month. hopefully this one I can stay longer.. hehehe.. I don't know.. sometimes I do find working behind the table is boring.. but.. being a fulltime housewife is also quite boring.. uhmm.. maybe not after we have child(ren).. but only God knows when. hehehe

and hey.. what's your plan for the new year? or have you decided what's your new year's resolution?
